This is hidden text Dowry system is a social evil that has been prevalent in many societies for centuries. It refers to the practice of giving or receiving property or money by the bride's family to the groom's family at the time of marriage. Despite being illegal in many countries, dowry system continues to exist in some cultures, causing immense harm to women and their families. The practice often leads to the exploitation, abuse, and even death of brides who are unable to meet the demands of their husbands and in-laws. It also places an undue burden on the bride's family and often leads to financial ruin and debt. There is a need for increased awareness and action to eradicate this harmful practice and promote gender equality and women's empowerment.
